2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. Love the car. Not many other V8 engines get 25 mpg. It has what they call "Active Fuel Management" so at certain speeds it shuts down to four cylinders. Not to mention that is has 303 horsepower. New body style for 2006 makes it look so much better. Love it. I have had 6 cars in my life (I'm 24) and this is the only one I would concider buying another one of. Depends on how much you want to spend. Mine listed for $30k but I work for GM so I get employee price and saved about $3,500.

I have a Plymouth Grand Voyager '93, 20/24 mpg. Comfortable car, good for hauling stuff and for long trips (we bring a small mattress for sleeping en route). Generally reliable, but the automatic transmission sucks; my local transmission servicer is getting rich fixing the things (he's done mine twice in seven years).
Other car is a '04 Ford Taurus, reasonably comfortable for getting about town, highly reliable, gas mileage unknown but probably about the same as the Plymouth. We are considering trading it in for something with better mileage -- possibly a Honda.

a '96 Hyundai Accent- 36 mpg. I love it. The clutch is going out in it and I am looking for a new car but I really love this car. This is the second '96 Hyudai Accent that I have owned and in a few years when I am ready for the car payment, I will go with a Hyundai. They are great cars and get great gas mileage. They have cutting edge technology that makes them incredible cars.

I have an 89 4 runner. its automatic, 4 cyl. and it gets like 20 miles to the gallon.which is pretty damn good for an suv. id say any Volkswagon they get excellent gas mileage. or something with a 4 cyl engine. or just hop up and get a hybrid, or diesel. you could make your own fuel if you have a diesel.its quite amazing

Ford Escape, 4 cyl. 5 speed manual. I hate it to death. I wish I could kick it and it would fly into another county. It is a pain in the ****....way to small for what I actually need, CRAPOLA on gas milage (and it should NOT be). Hate it hate it hate it.
Should have just admitted I need a minivan and got it done and over with, but NOOOOOOooooooo, I had to be the "cool" mom....stupid me.

Gee's...yikes...well I bought a used car which I call my Cadillac...Lol! But it's a 1987 Cutlass Sierra! Lol! Anyway I just loved it, but has been off the road for two months, darn, and I miss driving it. Man would I love to have someone pimp my ride so to speak, but I'm such a dreamer! Lol! I have worked on it which isn't bad for a woman, but I'm not a mechanic! Gee's...I should have asked for a mechanic for Christmas! I'll be sure to ask for one this year! Lol! Anyways...I lost transmission fuel due to a leak in the line, and brought it in they replaced the rubber part of the line and added fluid. The next day a friend took it to work, and I guess could only get first gear and then I drove it to check it out it stalled on me. I got it going again, and wanted to bring it in but it stalled. I recharged the battery, but now it won't fire up it just turns, so it's off the road! I wanted to trade it in for another 6 cylinder but still thinking to repair my old caddy so to speak to save up a bit more for a better down payment. Thanks for asking!
