Cause my boyfriend of 2years, has a chance to go out there and how we live together and will be getting married soon he wants me to go with him, But I'm really close to my family (MOM the most!!!!) what should i do!!!!

I was born in Oregon and still live here. Oregon is a very accepting place. The wide range of people on the street in downtown will prove that. I love it here. It's friendly, there's tons to do, and the summers are really nice. Winter can be a drag if you don't like rain...but Mt Hood is close and the snowboarding is awesome.
Within 2 - 3 hours of Portland there is mountains, forests, snow, beach, high desert, city, suburb, vineyards, farms, watersports, the Columbia Gorge etc etc etc!!!
You will LOVE living here!!!

I've never actually been to Oregon, but I've been to Washington, and northern California. I also have several friends that live in Oregon, mainly the Portland area, and they all love it there. I mean it, everyone I know who moves there says it's a great place to live. Also there's no sales tax in Oregon.

Oregon is a BEAUTIFUL state.I realize you will miss your family, but you have to follow your heart.I hope you and your man, have a great life out in the majestic Pacific Northwest.

I LOVE Oregon! The weather is great! Bandon is where I went.
