If you mean believe in mythology, you cant. Once you reject all of the nonsense about virgin babies and magic boats and miracles, you just cant go on believing any other nonsense.

Huh? Okay try this... the vale of deception doesn't erode til two thousand of them run violently off a cliff and choke in the sea. No attitude/motivational problem there, apparently.
