Is it possible that Karma from a past life can come up to bite you in the a** in this life?
How do you fix it, and how do I go about finding more out about my past life?

Yes, karma is not limited to one life. The fact that you have a material body means you are reaping the results of past activities or karma. "The Supreme Lord said: The indestructible, transcendental living entity is called Brahman and his eternal nature is called the self. Action pertaining to the development of these material bodies is called karma, or fruitive activities." (Bg. 8.3)

If karma ended with the death of the body, then suicide would be the answer to bad karma. But suicide itself is impious activity, just as killing anyone's body is murder. So our karma follows to our next body and we have to answer for every activity we perform even if we forget due to the death of the body. But just because we forget, doesn't mean that no one remembers. The Lord exists in the heart of every living being and witnesses everything -- all activities, thoughts and desires. He directs the material energy, Maya, to give us the result we have worked for and desired. The body, the situation, our families, nation we're born in, etc. etc, is all the result of our past desires and activities.

Karma cannot be fixed in the sense that you cannot end receiving results for your desires and activities by other material desires and activities. What is called good karma is also a temporary benefit that comes from pious activities and so is not worth the time and trouble taken.

To fix karma permanently means to end material activities or to be completely immersed in transcendental activities. When you are in this state, you are no longer generating karma. This requires knowledge. Knowledge of what transcendental activities are, what material activities are and the difference between them. People who are too lazy and want everything cheap and easy think there is no point in acquiring spiritual knowledge. They may say that you can just "sign on the dotted line" , say a few words and whammo, you're 'saved'. This is nonsense.

Whether or not you are buddhist, hindu, or christian, if you can observe actions having a corresponding effect, than you "believe" in karma.

Jesus himself taught this, but didn't use the word - do good, and good results will follow, do negative actions and negative results will follow. This is the nature of reality, not the nature of religion.

Just as your mind this second, right now, comes from the preceding moment, so does your experience of reality affected from what you did this morning, yesterday and so forth, going back into former lives and existences.

Obviously it's very difficult to prove this through logic alone, and even more so through direct perception of the mind, but it's possible, and there are many people, of different faiths who can see this through developing their minds through various meditations and so forth.

In Buddhism (and you will find this in Christianity, and I believe Islam as well) - the way to purify negative past karma, and their negative results is to purify them. This can be a bit overwhelming, so it's best to read up on it, this link might help:

This is from the buddhist tradition, but you will similar methods if you have different beliefs or do not have any beliefs. But the essence of purification is to rely on buddha, or jesus, or think the compassionate mind, to destroy the seeds of past negative karma, whereby doing good deeds is the actual method with a good motivation like compassion, and refraining from doing it again.

It is not so much guilt, but regret, like when you kill an animal, and knowing this is wrong, you admit your mistake and keep a pure promise to not do it again!

I hope this helps, and not too overwhelming - i encourage you to discover and search, as i just write of what little i know. Best of luck.

Yes, past life Karma does come back and bite us in this life if we refused to balance it in a previous life. You may want to locate a good Past life regressionist, contact a reputable Metaphysical foundation (perhaps, but not limited to, the Edgar Cayce Foundation in Virginia Beach, Va). This can help you remember past lives and the lessons you might have to balance from them, it is easier to let go of the karma when you know what it is.

I'm not a karma expert, but I can pass along what I've gleaned.

Yes, what you ask is possible, probable even.

How you fix it - well, you need to pay attention to the situation and figure out what lesson you're supposed to learn from it. Once you've done that, you can make peace and move on.

Look for metaphysical teachers in your area. What you're going to want is a past life regression.

Good luck!

evaluate this, Anatoly: If we've all lived previous lives, then how does the inhabitants develop? the place are all those new human beings coming from? whether you have faith in re-incarnation (for which there is not any information), maximum folk would desire to be residing our first life top now because of the fact under a century in the past there have been under 0.5 as a lot of human beings contained in the international. That being mentioned, Karma is in hassle-free terms a concept. it somewhat is in actuality a similar ingredient as asserting "what is going around comes around", or "you attain what you sow". it somewhat is basically the concept that solid strikes have solid outcomes and undesirable strikes have undesirable outcomes. that's a comforting concept, even nevertheless it is not unavoidably the way issues unquestionably artwork contained in the genuine international. Which by utilising the way, is the international that maximum folk stay in.

Yes, past life Karma can bite you. There are many ways that you can address this (including but not limited to the Jesus answer you were given). Basically you need to address the spirit world and declare that all past debts are paid, that this life is this life, and that all things past are past. It will take some time to clear out the spiritual pipeline, but in a relatively short time the Karmic garbage will flush out, and you can focus on this one life time. There are specific rituals for this, but in reality you need to write your own as it has to be from you to them.

The belief is that Karma can be broken at any time, in any life, by living by the Golden Rules. It may not come to fruition until the next life. The Karma is already in affect in ones present life.

Don't jump on this with both feet.

I know nothing, nothing, nothing.

Worry about this life. Try to be a good person now because you are no longer who you were in the past.

If you have a strong tie with a certain period in the past, do some research about it to get more in touch with your background.

However, I would avoid hypnosis. People that perform it require a lot of your time and money, and some tend to lead you.

past life? you mean reincarnation? if you do, im sure there is a good possibility that it will. the only thing you can do to fix this, from what i know, is do good deeds, dont get pissed, etc. it would give you the same options if you meant like when you were younger (when dealing with karma).
"what goes around, comes around".
