This past weekend I kissed a guy with whom I find attractive not physically but mentally & spiritually. I thought the kiss would seal the deal but it didn't quite entice me. What should I do?

Maybe it is because you aren't physically attracted to him? I don't think a kiss can "tell you EVERYTHING" but it is a good indication if you are attracted to them and vice versa. Alot of people say "Oh I knew INSTANTLY with a kiss" but you don't know what had been going on beforehand to cause that kind of reaction. And alot of people have been dead wrong. Someone that I was truly in love with gave me that kind of reaction (like knee-buckling, can't get enough of them)...but I was in love with them. I have had the same reaction with someone I was just VERY attracted to and not in love with at all.

I would give it another go...see how it feels and go with that.

It really depends on the situation.

If it was in a weird place that had weird vibes, then it probably wouldn't come off good. Or if the person is a horrible kisser. You probably wouldn't be able to tell anything.

Perhaps if the timing and situation was right with good vibes then you might be able to tell more.

Also you can tell a guys intentions with a first kiss. I mean if he is groping your butt while he is kissing you or squeezing your chest then his intentions may not be to just kiss you. If that is what that particular person is looking for that my be good but whatever the situation.

It's more of the body language during a kiss than the kiss itself.

Just try again. Maybe lay the kiss on him and see his reaction.

When I kissed my husband for the first time I told all of my friends and family that I met the man I would marry, and I did. However, I think some people need to form a strong emotional bond before they can feel anything physically. I would think it probably depends if you've been hurt before, how trusting you are and how emotionally available you are at the time. Or maybe because you were expecting to feel something great you were thinking of how great it doesn't feel instead of enjoying the moment for what it was. Try again but relax and let yourself feel without thinking too much.

Yes, you can tell alot by a kiss, the first kiss is usually the moment that lets you know if you want to go further.

No!!! The first kiss does not tell everything. He could be so nervous being with you that he just chokes. Give him a chance to get comfortable being with you.

no it didnt do it for me either :( i was kissed by surprise by my ex, and i feel like it was a waste because he cheated on me anyways.
just let things progress and maybe youll be able to "seal it" as time goes by. once isnt always enough

Absolutely not. Kiss him again and see how you feel after the second time :)

A first kiss is great but it doesn't really tell you anything about a person...if they can kiss...or if they have soft lips..thats about it!

so many expectations from so little participation. the last kiss will open your eyes to what you deluded yourself about. I am sure of that.
