Also, like others suggested Ay Carmela and Y tu mama, tambien are good films. I did not like too much the Motorcycle Diaries, but I guess maybe it is just me.

The movie amorres perros is my favorite. It is a little graphic. But you can always watch the spanish channel. Like univision channel. Go to the library they should have all kinds of movies that you should know the english version, so it will be easier to understand it in spanish. I am bilingual also so I like watching the soaps in spanish.

Y Tu Mama Tambien- I learned a lot of slang in this, its also a good story

Like Water for Chocolate- I just watched it this weekend; the first spanish film I've watched sans subtitles. They have good prononciation for someone who's learning.

Motorcycle Diaries

Maria Full of Grace

El Crimen de Padre Amaro- this one's kinda scarring.

My following suggestions have to do more with aesthetic value than pronunciation profitability:
- No news from God
- Dotting the I
- The Motorcycle Diaries
- Everything About my Mother
- Talk to Her
- Fresa y Chocolate
- Like Water to Chocolate

Que He Hecho Yo Para Merecer Esto? - Almodovar. It is rilarious, but if you are only used to the usual american romantic comedy, it might shock you a little bit, so dont chose it as a family get together movie eh eh eh .....
