Hum ... just another faucet of life in the universe. Ghosts are cool, huh ... never thought of it that way. They just are. I'd say if working with the spirits is your gift, go for it; I found it a bit overwhelming at one time, and it is not like there is any income from it. It is not exactly like Ghostbusters. One of the hardest parts is that one has to address the spirit, and one has to constantly be on guard for the zealots in this world who are so sure that the spirit-walker is demonic or nuts. One get the hassle for both sides of the "religious" question. That, of course, is off topic.

i have studied ghosts and spirit
ghosts are just residual energy . a memory , an imprint left in the atmosphere
they aren't conscious and cannot communicate
i love a good ghost hunt also .. but i do keep in mind that these aren't living beings in any way .. and one day like any recording , will eventually play out

you are probably psyching yourself out. Spirits are very real and I've only seen them out of the corner of my eye. When I was 3 or 4 I drowned and saw myself looking down at the pool, and I seen my babysitter pull me out of the water (from above)... not really a ghost story. ooh.. by the way, they are not 'ghosts' they are 'spirits'.
