It is an unclassified misdemeanor (from the Transportation Code, not the Penal Code), but the penalties are about the same as a B Misdemeanor--up to 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine maximum.

Just dont get caught. Just be extra carefull when you are driving, and do not drive drunk with a suspended liscense. If you do this, you wont get caught, and you wont need to worry about the penalties
