I consider myself to be christian but and curious about wicca.

Some people do blend Christianity and Wicca together, but I don't think it works that well. Christianity is monotheism that requires adherent to dogma, a text, and has the Satan factor. Wicca has a duality with the Deities (God and Goddess), no dogma/text (you have to do a lot or research on your own), and no Satan figure (people are responsible for their own actions, and there is no hell). While being Wiccan would allow you the freedom to use some Christian beliefs in your faith, I don't think Christianity would allow the same courtesy. Christianity follow a jealous God, while Wicca does not.
This is a personal choice that will require a lot of time and research, but I wish you well. Blessed be!

I'm neither christian or wiccan, but the way I understand it they will not mix too well.
Wicca is more of a philosophical outlook than a religion. It reveres nature and spirits, but does not preclude a follower of believing in other gods.
Christianity, on the other hand, is very intolerant of beliefs that do not follow those of the church. There are passages that specifically forbid "worshipping false idols" and such things.
However, I think that if you can reconcile the two within yourself, you should explore your spirituality.
BTW, someone referenced the phrase "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." I read that there is a good chance that is a mistranslation. The phrase should read, "Thou shalt not suffer a poisoner to live," which sounds like good advice to me.

They are similar in ways but they do not mix. Christianity has only one God and is a spirituality religion. Wicca has many Gods and Goddesses and is an earthbound religion. You should live with what religion YOU are comfortable in. There are two paths in the Wiccan religion.

It can, yes. Some people mix the two by worshipping Jesus as the God and Mary as the Goddess. There are actually a lot of similarities between the two religions, as many of the practices and holidays of Christianity were derived from earlier pagan practices, similar to those of Wicca.

Must because I know of a female minister that took off with a female Wiccan to build a new life. My first question was forget the lesbian issue, how did they resolve their religious differences?

And as a point of clarification to no1home2day - no, Wiccans do not honor nature as "supreme". Wiccans honor the God and Goddess.

it certainly can. some Wiccans use Mary to represent the Goddess and Jesus to represent the God. whatever makes sense to you will work.

Christianity and wicca does not mix. One honors God as supreme above all else, while the other honors nature as supreme. But God said "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me", making wicca contradictory to Christianity.
