well the 91 isnt and the 94 could be. the charge ports will tell you or look for the ac labels, going to be on the reciever drier ( looks like a big can passenger side) on the gmc and around the blower motor on the 94 exploader, the charge ports for r134a are alor bigger and dont have threads on the outside and the r12 ones do.
