not necesarily. depends how much you want to loose and how are you trying to loose it. Excercising is an excellent and non hazardous to your health way to loose weight. Fasting is not a good idea because you need the energy for your daily activities, otherwise pass out at any time. Pills, especially if they are diuretics( make you go pee pee) can be dangerous because your body will loose out on electrolytes that can cause cardiac problems. Do it the right way, eating small but nutricious meals, maybe even salads, and exercise regulary. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day to replenish what you sweated out. Stay away from sweats. That is what gets most of us. Hope that helps.

According to the American Medical Assoc......a weight loss of 1-2 pounds a week has the best chance of staying off. More than that and you'll most likely regain what you lost and more.

you may no longer lose 7 pounds each and every week and assume to maintain it off. once you drop weight so on the instant, you injury your metabolism until eventually you're exercising consultation 8-10 hours in line with day. think of, for occasion, of the television coach the biggest Loser. They lose some pound in line with day and that they are exercising consultation 8-10 hours in line with day (with running shoes, at that) and have all of their nutrition completely chosen for them. in case you opt to drop some weight healthily and shop it off, provide up ingesting white carbs (sugar, white bread, rice, potatoes, flour, etc) and do something to burn energy daily.

If you are healthy and have knowledge, or an experienced trainer, you can do this for a few days, but it is reisky and a lot of toilet time. Since you are getting rid of FAT, that means a lot of geasy poo.
I myself have been proud of a few one-pound dumps in my day.

Not if you are overweight, but if you of regular weight or under weight for that age it could become quite a problem.
