The word of God says that this ´´Gospel of the kingdom´´ will be preached to every nation peoples and tongues (or languages), ´´then´´ shall the ´´end´´ come. So i believe that christians should be interested in other languages since language is a tool of the word. God bless you and thank you for your answer!!!

I'm not particularly religious but I would have thought the best way to preach is by actions rather than words.

It's up to you what actions you choose, but let me give you an example.

My wife and I went out for a meal today to a pub restaurant.

There was a waitress there who should be called Tinkerbell (as in the fairy in Peter Pan).

As she went about her work she was sprinking love and happiness all around her.

A smile at a lonely old man sitting staring at his glass, a few words to a young baby in a pram watched by a proud grandmother, every movement she made shouted out "Isn't it a lovely day? Let's all be nice to each other!"

She didn't say one word about Jesus, God, or anyone else - she didn't have to - she was living it.

This is the way to preach.

I agree that it is a good thing to learn another language, it surely makes communication easier
