I hope you aren't trying to make this a black American thingy. (actually i should be saying that to toot14u)
I'm a white American and I love chicken and watermelon. Especially in the hot summertime in the south. Nothing better than a cold juicy melon.
Don't like fryin' that chicken in this hot weather though. Save it for winter time and just let the Colonel cook it for now.

im from southern virginia n its always been the tradition of our southern states..u see most southern ppl raise n kill their own chickens....we also have grow our own watermelons n other fruits n vegetables..we also have other meats n friuts n vegetables that r good combinations..we also season our foods very well...

watermelon is refreshing because of all the water in it......And chicken oh man....you can cook it all types of ways....fried, baked,stew, barbaque....oh man now i want some KFC....finger lickin good.....

yeah i heard that black people like that like the mexicans like tamales and birria, like whites like hotdogs and hamburgers. i guess a race has its most popular foods. but i dont like tamales and im hispanic so it doesnt apply to all.
