the scent of the devil.

it doesn't leave a smell on the person using it. check for running nose (will claim allergies/cold/etc), dialated pupils, rapid speech and movement, irratic behavior.

if they are - get away and don't go back.

Sadly but true enough, the only way a person knows if they're snorting real cocaine is by experience. If you're not familiar with it or have never done it, a person could give you a line of cyanide and you wouldn't know the difference. Cocaine can come in many different scents, depending on how it was processed. It usually smells like ether. It also has a pearlish - smooth shiny look to it. It can come in different shades of color...white, yellowish, gray. The best place to learn what you need to know would be to visit a rehab center. Or make an appt. to interview a drug & alcohol counselor.

It doesn't make a person smell, but as far as it smelling in general, depending on how good it is, it can smell and taste a little like gasoline.

Not unless they are smoking it. In that case it's called crack or free basing.

you will not smell it unless you are a police drug dog....look for dialated eyes, chain smoking if he is a smoker, gum chewing or gritting of teeth, jittery actions, loss of appatite. these are just the easy ones to spot
