Most meats taste like the seasoning, the texture is a mixture between shrimp and chicken, similar to crawfish. I'm from Louisiana, down there it is good, I've never tasted it not cooked cajun style though.

I've never had it, as I'm a vegetarian. BUT, my boyfriend has and he said it's kind of like chicken, but it's tougher and not as good.
I think the whole "It tastes like chicken" thing is a pretty typical response to "unusual" kinds of meat though...

Yes I have had alligatopr. Its okay-to me it taste a little rubbery but like they always say it taste like chicken-not as much as frogs legs but p[retty dang close.
