I'm not Christian, but as a Hebrew speaker I assure you that this language is pretty difficult and it does take some time to learn it. I don't mean to change your mind about this course, but the biblical Hebrew is more difficult than the modern one and sometimes it is not that easy to understand, even for me; so what gratvol says is true- it will take more than one course to be fluent in the bible.

I am not Christian but I do know Hebrew, at least to the level that you will be learning it.

your basically going to be studding the Hebrew alfa bet from Alef-Taf and all the basic vowel's and pronunciations when one adds a yud after a letter or a Het comes at the end of a word.

Things like that. Dont expect to be able to pick up a Bible and be able to read it, even I cannot do that though I can pick out words and sentience structure.

look forward to being able to pronounce the words in the Bible with good efficiency but having little if any clue what any of them mean.

If you want to know that it will require a lot more than a few courses

I haven't taken Hebrew, but I've always wanted to. I think it'd be neat to be able to study the Old Testament in its original language. Good luck and good studies!
