I am sick and tired, of people in MY house, losing my remote, i work out in the hot sun, all day long, and when I get home, All i want to do, is sit down, relax, and watch some tv, but nnooo, i spend most of that time lookin for my remote. What can I do, to get them to leave it alone???

Hide it somewhere, and just tell your family that you lost it. Then whenever they aren't around, get it out and use it.

My mom's friend tapes the remote to a rope and ties around the bottom of the couch ... I've seen 3 or 4 ropes all over the living room... and once I asked for the remote ... She just simply pulled the rope and here comes the remote! ...
If you have to do that for several weeks, do that, perhaps everyone will be embarrassed and realize not do lose the remote control ...
Other choice is to get another remote that programs everything into one remote ... You take that remote, hide it or take it with you ...

Lol! Good question. Quite possibly the best question I've seen today. I don't have an answer of course. This seems more like venting or a rhetorical question anyways so I doubt you'll mind that.

GREAT Q!!..everyday here too.. I liked the answer lose it on them..
but in my house I just scream when I find it other than on the table..
ITS ALWAYS BETWEEN THE SOFA CUSHIONS if your still lookin for yours!
