An abandoned cockerel has decided to make my garden its home, he's clearly a bit distressed and his early morning wake up calls are driving me mad! A local petting farm has agreed to take him in but only if I get him there, problem is, how do I catch him?

Use a have a heart trap and put grain inside or just feed him everyday until he trusts you.

lay a trail of feed in to a shed or out buiding and leave the door open for him to go in then close the door behind him. It may seem that I am being sarcsastic but I am serious they are stupid birds and will do anything for food.

Sprinkle some salt under it's tail, after that it'll be a child's game.
