No matter what is going on your grandmother loves you and if you dont have bad feelings about her than dont say bad things. I bet over the years you have had some misunderstandings with your mother. Well so has your mother with her mother and maybe you need to tell them both you love them but dont want to be put in the middle.

Before you give evidence, you are asked to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That's your answer. You give honest replies to the questions you are asked.
Sounds like your grandma needs someone on her side, if she really isn't that bad or psycho.
In any case, don't tell your mom you will lie. Just tell her you will answer questions honestly. Maybe if your mom knows you won't lie, you won't even be called to court, and that would be too bad.

Say what you believe to be true.
The Judge or arbitrator is there to get a honest picture of how to help your family. They need to hear different opinions, and views. Your view is very important. You should never lie. Lying will cause the Judge to make a decision based off the lie which could cause your family damage.
Don't lean towards eithor your mom or grandma ... just give thoughtful answers to the Judge when she asks you. Remember, the Judge is there to help EVERYONE in your family situation.

Well, you should do what you think is right regardless of the consequence or if your mom gets mad. Talk to your mom and tell her that what she and your grandma have between them is their thing not yours. She should not put you in the middle of it. As long as your grandma has not done anything to you or what happen between your mom and her is not that bad or drastic then your relationship should be ok with your grandma.

Your mom should keep you out of it instead of putting you in the middle of the crap. But, I guess sense you are there (in the middle) you just need to figure out what is the truth and tell your mom that the truth is all you are willing to say.
This way your mom can decide if you need to go to court with her or not.
Good luck and hopefully your family can get it together and stop the fighting

Just remember that you are in a court of law and it is your duty to tell the truth. When they swear you in, turn around, look at your mom and say I'm sorry but I have to tell the truth and then do it.
Why does your mom want a retraining order against your grandmother anyway?
