Like your finger print, no one has yet found the same finger print from anyone in the whole world; yet, we all have the same number of fingers in each hand (except for some). We breath the same air, we all need to eat food to survive but not all of us have the same pattern of behaviour. What makes you unique is your own personality which can be different even to your twins if you have one.
Now we live in a society where we follow a certain rule. Not only religions are telling you what you have to do to in order to reach the destinies they are talking about. Even at home, there is certain set of rule inside the house yet each of you have different type of personality but you come to agree that you are a member of the household. The government of people of US declares we are all equal by constitution but each one of us have a unique individual contribution to keep this nation running. How can you not see those? Not everyone is a fundie Christian.

We are not.We want you to hear about Christ and we want the Holy Spirit to convince you of the fact. You will always be unique but we want you to worship God in the way He says is befitting for Him to be served.Only that cannot be unique as the way of true worship is the same everywhere you go.It is Gods law. Remember though Christianity is not for pansy's. It is a fight against temptation and evil every day. That is why there are so many agnostics and atheists. Cowards the lot of them.

Good point.....I have noticed that some are almost robotic, saying the same canned phrases over and over, almost devoid of sensitivity for humanity.

Your beef with fundamentalism is that they use the word "unique"?

So they can tell their God "See? Look at all these souls I won for you." Personally, I think it's rather pathetic.

Its all about power. All they are trying to do is exert their power over others. No God, no problem.
