I just found an explanation from the UK (first link).

And the second link leads to a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The self-healing power of the body and mind is boosted in an amazing way - own experience. :-)

So with some luck, your child might be able to get rid of all the symptoms within some months.

The treatment is available in Europe and California only, costing about 200 Dollars. Good luck!

It does, but it depends on the type of punishment. Whatever form is used has to be extremely consistent for a child with Attention Deficit. You have to be realistic, too. You WILL have to tell them several times to do things as they are easily distracted! Reward them when they are able to concentrate and finish the task the first time, but do not inflict harsh punishments for something you already know is very difficult for them. Praising the ADD or ADHD child for positive things and avoiding saying negative things will cause them to work harder to please you. Good luck.

Because they don't have the capacity to understand and be patient like other children.
