Throughout mankind's history people have looked towards supernatural explanations for things they could not comprehend. Every once in a while after we have gained more knowledge, our deity of the day gets a little more sophisticated. For example, now that we can explain lightning, Zeus seems pretty silly to us. In ancient Greece however, Zeus was as real as our current Christian God. So in a couple thousand more years, how do you think God will have updated to keep in step with the times? Is quantum God the next step?

Hopefully in the future people will realize that we are all a part of god; that we don’t need a central figure or a man in a white robe to worship. We are an extension of god as we are and we will begin to treat ourselves and other human beings accordingly, as brothers and sisters. Right now, commercialism is god.

No. The Christian God has existed since time began. He has never changed. Only the name of the people has changed. The Israelites (Jews) worshipped Him in the Old Testament, but now Christians worship Him. He has been, and He always will be God.
