How come the country of the prophet (pbuh) and the site of the first ever Sacred House of Allah on earth is ruled by despots, hypocrites, puppets of the western tyrants and Muslims by name only.
Are we to assume all Saudi people are hypocrites and no longer Muslims?

Despite the official propaganda, the Arab streets despise the House of Saud; they are despised even in those Muslim countries that they have invested heavily. This is because they are shown to not only lack legitimacy, but also to be such hypocrites. While they chop-off hands and heads in the name of Islam, the off-springs of the “House of Saud” spend their young and not so young lives enjoy every conceivable pleasure that the so called “infidel” West has to offer.

This is a very good question!
I think it is wrong not to call them Muslims..And all Muslims are brothers.
But their's is not the only way or even the best and their influence is not helpful to the Muslim ummah
Unfortunatly some people (like the answerer above) think that being a good Muslim means hitting women with sticks if their show their face outdoors (even Non-Muslim women who have no need to cover their hair) or banning women from driving, or going out alone to the shops without a Mahram (whillst ironically Saudi has no problem women being chauffered by unrelated men!!)
Well I'm a Muslim woman..And I never hide my face..and I can go to school, shop, work by myself..
It is best that a woman is modest..but there is no compulsion in Islam, and their is nothing in the Holy Quran that give's a punishment for women who do not cover.
It is completly unislamic and disrespectful for a man to go up to a woman and tell her what to wear. He should feel shame and gaze his eyes down like is written in the Quran.
In the time of the prophet (pbuh) women worked and traveled alone.
Every other Muslim women in any other country can drive so why not in Saudi?
And there is no need to ban Christians and Jews in Saudi the Quran says that we should respect them as people of the book..
And sorry for making stereotype but Saudis are famous for treating their foreign workers from Asia so bad, and importing women as maids just to be prostitutes..
And I know in London I see all the Saudi men go to the Casinos, Night Clubs etc....
In Kosovo the Saudi destroyed more mosques than the Serbs..because they disagreed with the traditional style of mosque in Kosovo.
And why did the Saudi Government not support the Palestinians or the Lebanese in the recent conflict?
Islam is the most perfect religion but unfortunalty the guardians of the holy shrines are not. We as Muslims must speak out and explain that Islam is not about hate and hypocrisy but truth and justice

They are better muslims then than any other Country.
When King Saud died did you see his funeral it was simple burial UNLIKE KING HUSSEIN OF JORDAN.
Thats islamic, No shirk is allowed on their land isnt that great achievement.
I am not allowed to go to Umrah bcos of Mehram.....thats according to sharia....I dont want to argue on that.
Give me any other country's example....how should Saudi BE Like which country? Like Egypt/Iran/Pakistan/ UAE????

There are good ppl & there are bad ppl in every society.
The Govt. of Saudia is Muslim, and the law is muslim, but there are bad ppl also, so cant decide for 1 thing only...

I w'll never understand why woman can't drive in Saudi...That's the only country in the world has this stipulation. Being a man is much more luck than being a woman in Isamic countires.

Saudi Arabia practices Islam and adheres quite closely to the Quran. Perhaps its your faith that is questionable by not recognizing their Imans and their faith.

I don't know what you are talking about. Saudi has the strictest Mo slum government in the world. Where else could a woman be arrested for not being covered when outdoors.
