The copper IUD is brilliant. If you have kids already it won't be too painful to have it put in. Once it's in, you don't have to remember anything, so its not like being on birth control pills that you might forget. It stays in for up to 8 years, and is almost 100% reliable. Get one put in, you won't regret it.
By the way, at your young age, please DON'T get your tubes tied when there are reasonably permanent, reliable methods such as the IUD available to you. You never know what the future holds, or whether you will want to have another child in the future. Good luck!
I have just re read some of the previous answers and it's horrifying! Do people in America not learn anything about birth control? Don't you get taught about safe sex in school? I'm frightened for a nation where such a large proportion (at least those on this site) think that abstinence is the best advice to give a married woman? Educate yourselves!

For a married woman who has had children, an IUD is a very good form of birth control, and it is not subject to error or forgetfulness. Some work for up to ten years, yet you can have it taken out at an office visit and get pregnant right away if you chose to. It is easily reversible with no hormonal side effects, and inserted during an office visit. If you would like to be even more sure, this combined with a spermicide would really eliminate your chances of conception. Good luck!

I think the best birth control combo is birth control pills and condoms together; make sure you don't skip a single day of the pills though; even one day without it could allow you to get pregnant. Double birth control is always the way to go, because condoms and other forms only have a 98% success rate.

The Mirena IUD last for 5 years. You never have to take a pill, or put on a patch, or even think about it for that matter. And they can insert it right after you have the baby. It's also easily reversable if you change your mind before the 5 years is up.

After two abortions, and one son, i've become very paranoid about becoming pregnant. I always think i'm pregnant now (well, not anymore; I used to think so).
Just to be 100% sure that pregnancy will not occur, I stay on birth control and have my partner wear a condom. Sometimes when my paranoia starts, I take an emergency contraceptive pill 1-5 days later just to be safe!

HE should have a vasectomy. It's easier to reverse in case you change your mind later and want more children. And, besides, who really wants to wear a condom when he's having sex with his WIFE?
All these people that are saying abstinence really need to read the whole question. SHE IS MARRIED.

2 kids before 21? You must be fertile. Abstain from sex all together or get your hubby snipped or get one of those implants that are birth control you leave in for years at a time or there's always just the pill plus a condom.

The best pill I have ever used was ortho-tri-cyclen LO. It keeps your skin pretty and prevents pregnancy. I've accidentally missed pills and didn't get pregnant.
Good luck
