Recently in magazines they're showing pictures of Nicole Richy in her bikini...people are saying how discusting and unhealthy she looks. The thing is i look like this in a bikini, i think i look even skinnier than her. Maybe you can't tell as much as because i'm not going round in a bikini.
It's just really got to me because they're all discusted by it. I can't help being this slim, it annoys me when people tell me to eat because i do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about public opinion...as long as You don't have an eating disorder and aren't obsessing about your weight, and are healthy, be glad you have a fast metabolism. I am naturally "kinda chunky" as is my entire family, and I have to watch every mouthful or I slide down the slippery slope from large build to plain old fat. If you're naturally slim, rejoice! You'll never have a weight problem.
At 18 you don't have to worry; some women (like me) tend to gain after 30. Look at your female relatives who are over 40; there is your future figure. As long as you're in good general health and happy with yourself, don't worry about what "they" say. "They" don't have to live your life unless you let "them."
Enjoy your health and youth, I bet you're beautiful.

Why are you complaining?! You eat as much as you want and not put on weight. You're lucky. Although on the other hand if you do look like her then yes it is unattractive I'm afraid. Maybe you could eat more carbs to put on weight a bit. If you are happy as you are though and eat healthily (at least 2,000 calories a day) then don't worry about what people think. While we have freedom of speech (which I believe in) people will do just that and that's life I'm afraid. (I also did a survey on whether men preferred skinny, curvy or plump girls. 99% said curvy so I'm not the only one with that thought). There's too many of you teenagers trying to look like the models in the magazines. Don't waste your life trying to achieve the skeletal look. It isn't pretty.

If you are naturally very slim and eat a healthy diet I can't see there's a problem.

Fingers are pointed at people like Nicole Richy who have eating disorders and go from being well-rounded bodies to skin and bones.

Yes it is okay to be slim, the only thing I would ask is do you feel okay any stomach probs or headaches, nausea, dizziness, my daughter in law was very thin and eventually sought help to find out she was diabetic, please do not worry and think that this is your problem if you feel okay then you it more than likely your metabolism and your genes, but if you do not feel that well, get checked out by the doc as thyroid probs could also effect weight but..with other symptoms too, dont worry see the doc if worried and good luck.

I think the only thing that's important is that you are healthy. If that is your healthy weight then it probably looks better on you than it does on Nicole Richie, who perhaps needs to put a slight bit of weight on. Even so, I wouldn't say Nicole Richie looks terribly underweight...just a little.

It depends how old you are, some people ( like me ) are dead skinny till age of 13 14, then with developement filled out.

I know people who didn't fill out till over thirty.

If you think you skinny, you're not anorexic, they think ther'ye fat.

Some people have a condition called over active thyroid gland, this regulates your metabolism, it can be fixed with some tablets.

Best thing you can do is see a gp, they will either find you the right diet, put you on the right drug or tell you you're ok.

she is far too skinny and if you are skinnier then i think its a problem. if you say you eat enough to have a good balanced diet then i think maybe a trip to the drs may be an idea as you may have an underlaying problem that needs to be sorted and you could be doing your body some serious harm that could have serious concicenses in the future.

You bet! As long as you are eating right as you did say you are. Don't worry about it. I've been thin my whole life, and eat good and healthy foods, and still get negative people making false statements. But care none! Lol! If it's not my weight, it's my hair, etc...again, care none! Lol! Have a great day and enjoy your fashion!

Ignore people when people tell you to eat, it is definitely not your fault if you cannot gain weight - I am exactly like you, I can eat as much as I like and not gain a single pound. People should just respect you for being who you are... Theres no such thing as a perfect body as far as I'm concerned because everybody is different!

Nicole Richie has an eating disorder, that's why people say she looks bad, because it is not her natural frame...if you are skinny naturally......then you have nothing to worry abput...that is just who you are.....and people are probably jealous anyway!
