Top Fights and the quality that made it stand-out;

Meldric Taylor vs Julio Cesar Chavez I - talk about dramatic, Chavez is an Icon by this point, Taylor unimpressed proceeds to dominate and put on a boxing clinic, Julio is losing on two judges score cards (the third judge must've been in the restroom for the first 10 rounds). Meldric's corner urges him to win the 12th if he has any chance to win, outrageous advice. Chavez finally catches his prey, KO comes with only 2 seconds left in the fight.

Holyfield vs Qawi I - a slugfest from the opening bell, but watching Holyfield stop Qawi in the 4th rd to win the undisputed Cruiserweight Title after the heartbreak he suffered in the 84 Olympics made it that much sweeter.

Holyfield vs Michael Dokes - this fight won fight of the year, as a teenager I could only listen to it originally, catching a glimpse of the action between the multiple lines distorting the PPV screen. But hearing it made it even more dramatical. Got to see the fight later thanks to a friends dad taping it. Slugfest, but Holyfield always gave you your moneys worth.

Holyfield vs Bowe I - the last 3 rounds of this fight are unreal, seeing Holyfield slumping into the ropes appearing to be "thru" only to get up before the ten count and start taxing his revenge on Bowe.

Rocky Marciano vs Jersey Joe Walcott - at the age of 39 Walcott appeared to be handing the Rock his first professional defeat. Walcott wasn't going to just handover his Title. Rocky overcomes a knockdown in the opening seconds of the fight and finally KOs Walcott in the 13th.

Leonard vs Hearns I - four words "your blowing it kid", the candid observation by Angelo Dundee that sparked Leonard into what became an annhialation and finally a KO of the Hitman. Both were Undefeated at the time of this fight, lots of smack talk leading up to the fight.

Hagler vs Hearns - watching Hagler pawing at the blood from the cut he sustained in the second round, seeing his expression change, then observing a man on a mission storm outta the corner and put a "whoopin" on the Hitman. Three rounds that had more action then I've seen in the combined careers of Bone Crusher Smith and Pinkon Thomas.

Salvador Sanchez vs Wilfredo Gomez - two great punchers in the featherweight division going at it, every punch thrown with "cruel intentions".

also Arguello vs Pryor I "the one I mixed", Mancini vs Bramble I pop Mancini crying at ringside, Honeyghan vs Curry "upset of the year", Benn vs McClellan spectacular fight, lots of knockdowns,(sad outcome).

I don't watch boxing anynore. When I was a kid I watched alot. I think the best fight I ever saw was Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns, in the early 1980's. It was awesome. It went about 12 or 15 rounds. It was back and forth with alot of punches, knockdowns, blood, and cheering. Sugar Ray did a flip, literally, in the middle of the ring at end of the fight.
I would love to see it again, maybe on ESPN classic. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. You should too.

Too many good fights especially the 60's,70's.
Ali Vs. Frazier trilogy_ My favourite trilogy of all time. 3rd fight was the most brutal fight I've ever seen.
Barrera Vs. Morales trilogy_ Two of the best Superfeatherweight fighters beating the hell out of each other to prove who's the better Mexican
Ward Vs. Gatti_ Need I say more?
Morales vs. Pacquiao trilogy_ two of the most exciting fighters around right now. possibly the fight of the year this year. can't wait to see them slug it out possibly for the last time
Ali vs. Foreman_ Rumble in the jungle
Tyson Vs. Holyfield_ those two fights were marred with controversy and full of drama

I've got too many favourite best fights. These are the best in my opinion.

The greatest fight of all time was Hagler vs Hearns. Ring Magazine and HBO agree with me.

I enjoy almost all of Jackie Chan's fight sequences, as he utilises his surroundings in highly creative, and often comical, ways, whilst never inflicting mortal harm upon his opponents (unless, of course, they're the main villain). I have even more respect for Jackie Chan in that, not only is he the actor, but he also choreographs most of his fights as well as being his own stuntman.
