The electrical current destroys the nervous system by overloading it. The heat generated by the resistance of the body destroys organs and the contraction of the muscles causes them to tear and rupture and can cause bones to fracture. All in all, not a good thing.

It depends how many volts the body received. Some die and others survive. Unless of course you're sitting in the electric chair

The surface of the skin is burnt.Body is a good conductor.The electric current readily reaches heart.The ventricles contract rapidly (fibrillation) Blood pumping is stopped.This causes death.

Well, your heart beats via electronic stimulation generated by your SA node. When you're electrocuted your heart kinda freezes up due to the excessive stimulation, and that's why this causes it to stop sometimes. You feel that extreme "pins and needles" type of sensation and your skin burns but I dunno why.
