I went to a party awhile back and the hostess served this snack that was basically a block of cream cheese with some kind of red neon sauce over it. You would take crackers and scoop off a piece of cream cheese with the sauce. All I remember of the recipe is the sauce had horseradish in it. Anyone ever hear of this dip and know the recipe? It was spicy and quite yummy. Thanks!

Never seen it with horseradish, but you take cream cheese and pour a jar of hot-pepper jelly over it - it's usually VERY red and tastes great!

Only answer you got is some dumb recipe that has nothing to do with horseradish?? Go to the store and buy soft tub of philly cream cheese with jelly swirl and one tub of plain and a bottle of prepared h-radish (will be nearby) Beat two tubs of c cheese and 1/2 pint of (Daisy) sour cream with 1 big teaspoon of h-radish and you will get the same taste you are looking for. Use only daisy sour cream as it is the only brand made with cream. Other brands like Breakstone say sour cream on lable but main ingredient is Milk??? Sour cream is made from cream - Not milk.
