An interesting piece of trivia here: Pete's Wicked Ale originally had a pit bull on its six pack holder. When Bud started using Spuds, they send a letter to Pete's saying they were taking them to court for copying their idea.
In court, Pete provided proof that they had used a pit six years before Spuds. Anheiser Busch sent Pete's a letter, giving them permission to use a pitbull.
