im about to be married with my gringa so i just want to know what's the paperwork i'm supposed to fill out in order to get my residence.....thx a bunch

yee i didn't give much details but gringa means US american non-naturalized ...she is a white woman in other words and i reside in US for 4 years and a while ago i met her and now we planning to get married and we consider the idea to made my change of status ...plus i came like a tourist i got my i-94 (expired)

Once u r married:
I-130 Petition for Alien Relative
affidavit of support, USCIS Form I-864

those are the forms you needs generally for marriage based immigration if your spouse is a citizen..... but if u are here on a visa or anything else.... there are other things you need, plus you need proof or relationship etc....

consult a lawyer if you need one

i don't know what a gringa is.... so i really don't know what you're situation is, if you are here legally, it is much easier.... i have been through it recently.... if you have any more questions let me know, i am glad to pass the knowledge on!

Your gringa must file an I-130 petition for you for immigration. If the petition is approved, you can apply for an immigrant visa if you are outside the US, or adjustment of status if you are in the US. If you have been illegal for too long, it will be denied.
