But he wasn't. Jews in his time weren't white. They were quite dark.
When they immigrated to Europe they got whiter. So today Israelis are quite white.
It's evolution.

Jews are not white. Originally they came from what is now modern day Iraq or Kuwait. The migrated to what is now Israel. When they were dispersed in 70 A.D. they were scattered all over Europe and Asia. They blended a little. Now you can have a Jew of many colors (ha-just had to say that). I would think that the average Jew (if there is such) would have brown skin.

Is Jew a race? I thought it was a religion in which case a Jew can be of any ethnicity and not just of the Caucasian Race.

Ahh, more ignorance on the web... Jews were originally from the middle east, so their skin tone varies from rather pale to quite dark. Don't make statements without facts to back them up, especially when you clearly have no idead what you're talking about!
