all of a sudden (like 2 or 3 days) after he asked me out he just decided he wanted to be friends. he didn't talk to me between when he told me that and when he asked me out. I don't know what to do or how to get over it because i'm not sure what happened still. do i talk to him or just let it go now (since i will eventually have to)?

Let it go...you don't know him that well apparently anyway, so there's nothing to be really hurt about...it's never fun to find out someone you dig doesn't dig you in the same way, but you had no real emotional investment in the situation (at least not from what you posted) so move on and don't let this trouble you...

Call him on it. Say something like "Hey, what's with you wanting to be just firends 3 days after you ask me out?". Have some guts, I promise you it will pay off. Nothing bad could possibly happen so go for it! And who knows WHAT might happen!!!

I would try to talk to him and find out why, but prepared to just let it go. He may have got scared and decided not to date you. Maybe he doesn't think he is good enough for you. Or maybe he heard something about you (true or untrue) from someone else that makes him not like you anymore. This is why it would be good to talk to him. Find out why he changed his mind and see where it goes from there.

I am in the same situation. I think that until you know for sure what is going on that it is ok to hold on to the feelings and everything. But if it takes to long I would move on.

Seem like to me you already answered your own question. If he's not interested then its not you, its him and the fact is that you two are not a match. Don't try to force a square peg into a round hole. It will only cause you frustration and heartache.
