On a break...because she's going through a lot.?

Me and my g/f of 11 months, 12 counting this month, just deciding to 'take a break', well she decided. I had gotten her a promise ring, we are so in love, and we were about to move in together next month. We also have had sex, which either of us do unless we're really committed. She says she needs a break to fix stuff within herself about her parents (dad cheated on her mom, he's leaving), she's worried how much $ she'll have to give her mom, she says doesn't feel she can be a good g/f right now, or is in a place where she wants a relationship and the committment. But she says she's sure she wants to be with me forever, 200%, just now now, b/c she wants to be alone. She called me the other night at 3am at the police station crying, confused, says felt lost for awhile now. Her two friends got arrested for drinking and driving..she was in the car. And she calls ME. She's like "it's so reassuring I know you are there for me no matter what". But says "See I'm in no place to be a g/f".

it's a long dist relationship, and she's like "i know if i ever needed help you'd be on a place to me in a sec" and she says she still wants to talk, just not as much. she still says she loves me, she was just telling her friend she misses me, but she also just got a new appt she's gonna be working two jobs, she is worrying about paying for college come spring. she said she wishes she could just hit 'pause' and come back to us. she doesnt want me out of her life...she just doesnt want the responsibility of being a gf. and we both said we know we do not wanna date other people. it's really hard not to talk to her all the time..oh yeah and we were like best friends before we hooked up. i'm getting better at not calling, and even she said she understands its hard, for her too. she said its hard to hear my voice and hear me say 'i miss you' or 'i love you'...even though when she called me yesterday she said 'i love you' like 3 times. what do you all think about this?

I can let her have her space. She just called me because she says she's used to it, been doing it for so long, and likes it. Still thinks about being with me sometimes, and feels happier with me. Also she says she's sure she wants to be with me b/c she feels it and wants it. I'm just gonna give her space now.

She cant see you because she needs to be alone but she can go out drinking with her friends ?? I would say she wants to have some fun and keep you waiting on the side. If your going to wait I would say you should date others while your waiting.

Just be patient with her. It sounds like she is going through a lot right now. She called you because she trusts you. You are the one she comes running to because of the relationship that you two have had together. She might be doing the right thing for now since she is going through so much. She is probably having a nervous breakdown , and she doesn't want you to see her that way. Just be patient with her, dude. If you love her, you will wait for her to get over all this, and if you can't wait for her to have her alone time, then maybe you shouldn't marry her or move in together after all.

It sounds like she is going through a lot. Help her through it but when she needs her space, give it to her.Seems like she doesn't want to put you through all the drama too.
