I've seen numerous posts where Christians answer saying "You're an ******" or "I'm imagining beating your head in with a crowbar" ... and then they have to nerve to add on top of that "God is with me and watching me" or "Only God can judge me".

Darn good question and yes you are right, but not all of us are hypocrites a good percentage are though they are the ones as you have seen the answers from that have very little common sense and for the most part would not know God if he was standing in front of them, I apologize for them because I see them in church every Sunday and wonder why they even come, I think God still loves them hoping intelligence will over come their ignorance.

Looks like you were talking about me with the whole crowbar thing.

Let me tell you this - I believe in God but i'm a fuking lunatic if someone pushes my buttons. I don't think that's being a hypocrite. And, i'm sure a lot of my Christian bros/sis' will get pissed at me. But only God judges me so I don't give a ****.

Now, when your atheist friends stop talking sh it about my religion, then i'll stop imagining beating them with crowbars.

btw - I now regret that comment. It was quite mean. And I could just use my hands..Mutual combat...No need to get weapons, right.

I've seen more than just Christians out here like that.
Atheists, Wiccan, Muslims, Agnostic ....

When the lose it they come out with typical put downs and if the don't like the answers well all of a sudden people get stupid, well you know.
Even the calling of one person's belief ignorant or stupid or oh well I digress.
It seem sometimes people feel better about a personal attack rather than have a good debatable answer.
So I can show you many examples where either side has used that language when they lose the argument.

Oh well

God Bless and have a great day. I will.

The majority of Chistians that I know are Christ-centered servants. We are still human and still sin. However, if you are truly accurate in your claims about what Christians are saying in other posts, then I would posit that one of the following is true:

1. These people are not actually Christians and are claiming to be in order to make Christians look bad. If this is the case, it seems to have worked on you.

2. They are joking.

3. They need to pray to be more Christ-like.

If I were a gambler, my money would be on option one.

May God bless and keep you.

Unfortunately, many of the people who claim to be "Christians" are not true believers in Christ or they would not conduct themselves in a way that did not represent Christ.
There are many believers who do act hypocritical. I do not excuse their behavior or condone it but I do explain that believers in Christ are not perfect. They still live on this earth and are still capable of sin. They have just come to realize that they can do nothing to redeem themselves of their sins in their own power and have chosen to accept the one who did. And it is true, God is watching over the believer and only God can judge them.
I am sorry for the one's who are true Christians who have represented Jesus and God in such an awful way.

I'll go one further...I'm a Christian, and will agree that in one way or another, ALL Christians behave self-centeredly, and will repeatedly, habitually, and grievously act in ways contrary to their profession of faith.

The incorrect conclusion to draw from this, however, is that Jesus Christ is somehow surprised, thwarted or defeated from any of our duplicitious behavior.

Why? Because He has already told us that after He saves us, we battle against our rebellious nature until the day we go to be with Him for eternity.

Yes, I'm self-centered. Yes, I'm a hypocrite. No, I'm not smug, happy or pleased about any of it...but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't true.

But at the end of the day, I'm humbled and forced to confess that any good thing in me is only because of the grace of God in Jesus Christ...and that glorifies Him.

I would not say the majority of Christians but it is the few pom-pus asses that give the whole a bad rap. But just remember that God is the only one that judges the quality of ones life.

Christians are human too, therefore they are also subject to human nature and the need to defend themselves when wrong or praise themselves when right. I've also noticed that issue as well, but like I said we're all human, therefore we are all subject to making comments and accusations in attempt to make someone else feel low, high, or just blah. Some people are religious, some spiritual, but they are all human-just humans with questionable beliefs

If any one says as you state you can be assured they are not of The True Christian Faith. To act, or react, in that way is against the will of our Lord and Master
