Since a rainbow is sunlight spread out into it's spectrum of colours and directed to the eye of the observer by water droplets, I would think it may mean that the soul exists within the body.

You can not be completely happy if you haven't ever been sad.
You must know the sadness in order to understand and treasure the precious moments in your life.
If one had never known what it's like to be down, lying on the bottom of the abyss, one will never realize the daily miracles of life: the sun shining through the trees, holding hands with the loved one, watching the sunrise/sunset, etc.

I like it....because it is through our trials and testings that we learn to embrass truth and life therefore has greater meaning....
