My mom asked me once to throw away my old boomerang...after literally interpreting her, it took me months to do that.

EXCELLENT!

This is a point most people dont get, like when a western Muslim apologist says "thats not the true Islam" as if there was no way to interpret a text differently. There can never be any "true" interpretation of a religious text without the authors presence.

Of course, if these books were written more clearly, like we do with modern legal statutes, then we might have less room for debate, but there still will be reasonable differences.

YES. I agree with you on this.
Yet people INSIST on interpreting the bible so literaly. And funny thing is they take literally only certain things and ignore the rest.

Simply because language may be manipulated does not demonstrate that said manipulation is correct.

While there is validity to your point it is obviously overblown. Perhaps another stint in kindergarten will help you solidify your use of language.

everyones thought processes are different...to the point where its sometimes difficult understanding where others arrive to an answer.
