is it the age? she's like 3 now but she's been like this since she was 2 .. before that she LOVED other dogs and she'd play with them now she acts like they're not there...why?

She is not a puppy anymore and is just used to being around other dogs. Be happy that she doesn't want to play with every dog at the dog park.
I had a Golden Retriever and we took her to the dog park ever since she was a puppy and she would play with every dog there. Once she was mature about 2 or 3 years old she would just lay under the large tree that was at the park and stay there for hours...but if we took her hiking in the woods that was another story she would run up and down the path. She loved to just go for hikes.
Maybe your dog would rather the samething, maybe she is board of just playing with other dogs try hiking with her and maybe a friends dog and see how she is.

Ive got a tea cup maltese and mine liked other dogs until it got its but kicked by a chiwawa.Yours probably got beat up to.

Cuz your Maltese has this boyfriend right? And so then the boyfriend cheated on her and went with another Yorkshire Terrier...
