Contrary to what most are saying here, older golf clubs can be of greater value than new ones.
In particular the wooden-headed woods especially "persimmon"
wooden heads can fetch a pretty penny amongst golfing purists.
Do some research on the brand of clubs, you might be pleasantly surprised!!

If your clubs are really really old they may have considerable value as collector's items, try searching the Internet or try the golf collectors organizations listed below. Try searching for antique golf club by the manufacturer of the set you have (Wilson, Nicklaus, Mcgregor etc.). If your set is not an antique it probably has very little value less that $100 and maybe nothing. ebay was a good suggestion, try searching for the set you have on eBay as a value base. Remember there are many different models for each manufacturer so the model is important. Good Luck & if the set has no value giving them to a youngster who might become a superstar one day and remember who gave them their first set of clubs.

On the club will have the brand and model. Search for them on Ebay or on the web to get a price to sell. Place an ad on www.craigslist.com in your area, it's very easy. I sure hope you have a digital camera. Good luck.

Search for them on Ebay to get an estimate. Just because they are old does not make them worth more though, unless of course they are a numbered set or signed.

Take it to the pro shop. If these clubs belong to Bobby Jones or Sam Snead, they may worth a lot.
