Well, Studies have shown that life started with a single cell organism. This was figured by the adaptation that they grew to multiple cells which were mammals. So the correct answer would be "The chicken came before the egg.

In the beginning God created the chicken. There wasn't death, because Adam hadn't sinned, so there was no need of the reproductive system. Everything God created was male, then Adam was lonely so God made female. After Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, reproducing and death came into order, and the chickens had eggs.
People are so illogical...it's very simple!
