You sound delightful. The important question is : How do you feel? When I was a teen, I was a skinny minny. Tall and really thin. I remember feeling weak. As i grew a little older, and gained weight naturally, I started feeling stronger and physically better overall. And people told me I looked better, too.
Do you exercise? If you get regular exercise and maintain your present weight, I think you are doing well. But it's always best to consult your doctor during your next physical. I'm just a jock and I don't know nuttin'.

Honey, if you are 5'6" and 125lbs, please be content. That's great, you would be underweight if you lost any. You REALLY don't want to look like the lollipop celebrities. Remember when Lindsay Lohen was so thin it was like you could see right through her? Or look at poor little Hillary Duff. That girl was beautiful, but now? The more weight she loses, the more horselike her face looks. If you think you're body could look better, work out with some weights. Maybe it's not losing fat that you need, it's toning your muscle. Try it, you'll probably like the difference.

Actually, if you have normal bone structure, you're just a tad underweight. The ideal healthy weight for someone 5'6" with average bone structure is about 130 lbs. Assuming that you're a girl, of course.

Instead of focusing on the numbers, which don't mean a lot, why don't you focus instead on your level of fitness. Instead of losing weight, how about building up muscle strength?

Your fine. I am 5'8 and weight 135.

You are supposed to gain 7-12 lbs every inch you grow.

And anyways, doctors say a healthy weight for 5'6 is 130-135! So you are good!

i thikn you should be content with how you are. you are definatly not overweight. maybe do some pushups, crunches, wallsits, etc in order to tone what you already have so that it looks a little better. but no you def do not need to lose any weight.

If you want to live longer, then you might want to lose some weight. Either way, be content.

At 16, you haven't finished growing.....leave it be for now, do what you have been doing, don't change your eating habits just yet....you haven't come into yourself quite yet!!! You still have plenty of time to fill out as it were.

Be content with that. However, you should still exercise as it is good for you.
