My hair was dyed at home but it was messed up because my dad only highlighted the top. then i went to a salon to get it fixed but its just worse. I have natural black hair, and im asian. the salon made my hair very light. how do i get rid of it? should i use garnier noutrisse or color pulse actif? the thing is my dad spent a lot of money on my hair, and i don't want it to be completly dyed. what should i do??

Firstly, pick a semi permanat colour that is a few shades darker than your hair -and natural - steer clear of anything with red in it (brown sounds best in this case) and put it over the top. You will find it might look bold after you first do it, so put a little bit of dishwashing liquid with your shampoo and it will pull the dye of the strands of your hair more if it is too bold.

Then allow it to fade a little.

This should make it more subtle. Then you can try another semi -permanat dye a bit later on to get it closer to what you want.

If the highlights are strong, after he process try saving a bit of dye and re-dye only the really bright, dodgy blonde bits to get them closer to the rest of your hair colour.

That should fix it no worries!!!!

Go back to the salon and tell them your unhappy with the results. They should fix it for free or at the least a reduced cost. I wouldn't touch it on your own, 3 dye jobs in a short time is a lot and you dont want to risk having it fall out or change to a really weird color

You should go back to the salon and tell them you don't like it. Maybe you should just have it dyed back to a darker color, like brown black. Do you think that would be better then the way it is now? Good Luck

Find a salon that has someone that specializes in coloring hair. There is a process called "Corrective Color". Seek one that does and tell them that's what you want.

try mixing baking soda (make sure its soda NOT powder) with water and leaving it in your hair for a bit, then washing it out. do it over and over till the colors gone. :)
