what are the sure fire signs that your partner is cheating / going off you?

The sure fire signs are an increase in things "coming up", a decrease in intimacy, all of a sudden those precious moments of quiet you spend with each other turn into awkward silences. I believe women know the physical signs and are attuned to when something is wrong. The hard part is knowing if it is cheating, or if its that phase when he stops being in love with you and is just loves you.

Then there are the overt signs, smelling of perfume that is not yours, password protection on his cellphone, if he's living with you and he starts hiding his bills or is his credit card bill and/or cell phone bill stop coming to the house (PO Box or e-bill). If you have a joint account and you notice that his deposit isn't the same amount but he still has the same job he likely funnelling money into another account (could be legit - like a surprise cruise for you... or he could be diverting part of his check so you don't question the withdrawals). If he spends a lot of money but he never seems to have any receipts stuffed into his pockets it can be a sign.

If you really want to know go to a site where they teach guys to hide signs of cheating... they can be tricky and hide the signs, but they can't hide their emotions.

Oops I forgot... if you answer his cell phone and he gets angry beyond reason you know he's getting calls he doesn't want you to know about. Or if he picks up the call and hangs up or if he sends it right to voice mail and you innocently ask who it was and he gets uncharacteristically angry.

1)cheating and going off someone are not necesarily synonimous as all long term relationships go through ups and downs, if you see what i mean lol
2)do you need your partner to be shaging you senseless every night to feel secure? if so you need to be looking a little more at your own sense of esteem
3)people who are worried about thier partner cheating often have guilty secret of their own, or at least are thinking about it. ever heard of projection?
4)dont listen to all these people who say "oh hes working late and hes tired, therefore he must be cheating" - of course hes tired, hes been working late for gods sake.
5)maybe your partner is tired,stressed,bored,whatever if so TALK TO THEM
6)maybe you / them have trust issues, if so TALK TO THEM
7)maybe you just need a little confidence boost, if so TALK TO THEM
8)maybe, just maybe they are cheating. if so YOU STILL GONNA HAVE TO TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT.

seriously, no one here can give you a fool proof cheat test.
know your partner, like yourself and respect and support each other. there is no better recipe for fidelity or for coping if things dont work out.
