You should tell him kindly that your not looking for a relationship right now and be nice and kind despite his shortness and don't make it obvious that you aren't attracted to him because of his height issues.
He's cute, smart, and funny, but oh so short and I hope your fortunate enough to meet someone cute, smart, funny, and tall.
At least your staying true to what you like because when you date outside of your preference, your already going in the relationship with a problem and the problem would be his height.

i went out with a guy i was much taller than...
it worked out pretty well, but he always made fun of me when i wore heels. i thought it was cute.
he probably feels a little werid that you're taller than him, but if you like him, don't worry about it! if he's cute, smart, and funny, you should keep him!

if you don't want to be with him, then don't worry about it. Do he have money? Because if he do, just use him to get what you want. He may be the kind that don't mind spending his money. Just do it in a nice way, then tell him something like, I have met someone. Good luck!
