DNA evidence has no validity to determine one's Jewishness according to Jewish law. Jewish religious law says that anyoen whose mother is Jewish or converted properly is Jewish. DNA evidence does not change that.

Also, the current DNA based technology is not precise yet to definitely determine if someone is Jewish, only to indicate that Jews share common genes that point to a common ansestor.

A simpler way would be to ask your mother if she is Jewish or your mother's mother. If tehy were Jewish, you are too.

Reform Judaism also follows the father's lineage.

well you could talk to your doctor, or you could map out a family tree at ancestry.com
