very much to the point of infatuation, they don't feel the same way. And someone different loves you and you don't feel the same way about them. Why does this cycle continue?

because love, on it's own, is pure sacrifice:

love is (in my opinion): caring for someone SO MUCH that you want what is BEST for that person....regardless of what it does to yourself. their happiness is put above yours.

now..if u feel that way about someone, that's awesome. but ur not done yet.. u have to make sure that the person u love, LOVES U BACK.

but wait..ur STILL not done! cuz u need to make sure that this guy can Take care of you. Wants to do what is best for you. Is Able and Willing to do all it takes to make you happy. he has to be able to Use that love and help him do what it takes to make you satisfied mentally, emotionally and physically. and remember, u have to make sure YOU are doing that for him. because u can only control urself, not that person, u have to have boundaries. u have to have expectations for how u want to be treated. if the guy doesn't cut it, it doesn't mean u don't love him. it doesn't mean u've failed cuz u couldn't change him. it means he didn't know how, or didn't want to learn how, to do what is Right for the relationship to grow. and that guy is not good enough..regardless of if he thinks he loves you...cuz if he's not able to satisfy ur needs, how can the relationship work?

love is the foundation to trust, and using that love to fuel the relationship to Grow is what a true, healthy relationship is. love is part of it, but it is not the only thing. respect, honor, and compromise is what needs to grow out of that love.

It's because everyones likes and dislikes are different and it's hard to find people or a person with the same interests. Not every one likes the same food, or the same car, or that same way of life. Love is the same way, only it's not about two or more people agreeing on liking the same objects or beliefs, it's about two people agreeing on liking each other, which makes it more difficult. But you will find someone who loves you as much as you love them, it just takes more of an effort to find.

Because you allow this cycle to continue. You need to meet up with people who have the same core values as you!

It's called life. Every person you meet or fall for isn't suppose to be the person that you are suppose to be with. You learn lessons, find out your likes and dislikes, so when you do find the right person you'll know it and they'll know it.

It's like buying a car. You may love look and it seems okay except for cost, but you gotta keep test driving to find the one that's within your budget.
