They may have used a tranquilizer to relax you and then they used an anesthetic to put you to sleep. It will take at least a week for your system to flush the anesthetic from your system and maybe 2 weeks for the tranquilizer to be flushed from your blood. You can go to a health food store and get a healthy system cleansing kit and take it to help flush and cleanse your system of un-natural chemicals. It is wise to consult a Homeopathic practitioner for help in this procedure... seeing that you just had an abortion and are not totally healed. Good Luck!

This depend on the sedative, and the ability of your system to absorb the drugs. Drugs decomposes at a different rate in different people.

Most employers are not interested in medicinal narcotics. What they are looking for is cocaine, marijuana, esctacy or mdma, Hallucinagenics, or heroin (which is where the problem may stem).

Heroin has opiates which is used in many pain killers today. If they are testing for that, they will ask you if you took any medication in the last 7 days. At this point, offer only the medication you took.

Congratulations on your job.
