I think your question may have merit... but your phraseology is all wrong. Israel is a land mass as defined in the Torah. There are clear borders and jews (as well as non-jews) have lived there almost forever.
The issue, I guess, that you have is that creating a state before the arrival of the Messiah, and claiming the inherited right to do as much, would definitely seem to be against the information found in the Torah.
I would very much tend to agree with that. That being said, why wouldn't the jews, who have been persecuted for-seemingly-ever, not jump at the opportunity to create a little sense of security and home when it is offered to them by the world??? It would seem that they should have every right to do something like that. Indeed, there were those at that time who felt much like you do, and wanted to establish a Jewish state elsewhere. It just happened to work out the way it did...
So I guess you have a valid question... But in the scope of things, wouldn't you agree to let them be, and if G-d has any issues with it, let Him take care of it?!?!

Well, Orthodox and Chasidish Jews are in agreement. However, it also says that once every Jew is in Israel, the Messiah will come. That's why more and more Jews move there every day. It may sound like an impossible goal, but at least those KJews who are moving there are showing something. That they are trying to reach that goal.

that is the reason why many religious Jews opposed the creation of the state of Israel in 1948.
but like spam said the current state of Israel is nothing like what is to become when the Messiah comes.

The existence of the state of Israel is bad theology.
But it is necessary to keep the Jews from being wiped off the face of the earth, even though extremist Islamic fascists are doing their best.

Modern day Israel is certainly not the prophesied world wide monarchy the Bible talks about. It's the result of zionists manipulating eschatologists into thinking they could force Jesus to return by creating Israel.
