actually the 6 day you got going there is wrong. if you think about it, how long is a day and how is it measured? (the earths rotation?) well how could a "day" pass without the earth existing yet? the term "day" pertaining to a period of time in which God created one thing or another, if God is of infinite time then a day to him could be millions of years to us. and technically you cant say christians are wrong anymore then they say your wrong, neither creation nor evolution has any 100% absolute proof of being truth. if it did then there would be no debate. so both sides need to get over it and realize that to BELIEVE soemthing is true doesnt MAKE it true. if that were the case then id believe that i had a few million bucks and never had to work again. but that just dont happen sorry folks. (just an fyi, im not christian nor athiest nor of a religious or athiestic sect. just an open mind here)

It's called hope. Some people just like to hold onto faith and hope and believe in something more meaningful. They too are looking for answers, which is why they ask questions. If you believe in something strongly. I suggest researching it to the fullest extent possible to come up with your own conclusions. Don't be so easily accepting of things, just because you were raised a certain way. When it comes to religion there is no right or wrong answers...it is all a matter of faith and belief.
Personally if you are an atheist, know why you are one and have your reasoning to back it up. Usually that is in the form of science. I suggest researching the science behind how the world was created and you will be able to answer their questions.

I can accept it if you can. I think Atheists are the same way. So many times I have seen on here questions like "If God is real why is there pain on the earth?" Or "If God is real why is there children dying on the earth?" Every one seeks proof for all claims. It's just in our nature to doubt what we do not understand and look for evidence in what seems so far fetched.

As a Christian, I know for certain there are some answers that I do not know the answers to yet. In addition, the more I learn, the less I know.

It's all to do with intelligence, and in the case of religious followers, the lack of intelligence. For example ...
Imagine you’ve just been launched into space, you look back and watch the Earth through a rush of clouds turn into a beautiful blue green and white coloured ball. Seems so peaceful, how could such an inspiring serene picture be home to so many violent selfish greedy human residents.
The hours pass and Earth turns into an ever reducing multi-coloured little marble, and all around is darkness pitted with twinkling white stars. You strain your eyes and watch Earth disappear into a barely visible flicker of light, and still all around is just darkness pitted with twinkling stars.
You fall asleep and when you awaken everything looks the same. Darkness scattered with distant stars. You’re lost, you have no idea where Earth is, up down, left right, Earth has gone for good. Everything is just darkness and stars in every direction you look.
Now ask yourself, do you really believe that violent life on some planet that you’ve no idea where it is, has the answer to everything around you.

I am not talking about any religion, but as human beings when you say that we don't know some things, it's a bit surprising. In fact we don't know most things. Ask the learned people of the world who are very, very humble - because they realize.

Who is to say who is right or wrong???? I think everyone is entitled to believe in what they want to. Just don't hurt anyone else because what you believe in. What were the terrorists beliveing in when they destroyed the Twin towers? They didn't care that they killed all those people and chidren too. Who gives anyone the right to take peoples lives?????? Religion is supposed to teach people about morals. Thats what it is supposed to be about. Not killing or hurting others.

it's their way to recruit. the main purpose of religion is to recurit and spread like a deases. they make others wrong and create conflict. the truth is that many questions are not answerable and a waste of time. So, lets move on and learn to live.

No one of The True Christian Faith will ever claim to "know it all". Not even to "know it all" about all the God stuff... No one dose.
Any one claiming to be "christian" who would so claim may be dismissed as a false "christian"
On the creation subject. I have a bit different pov than many of my Christian brothers and sisters... if you are interested here is the direct link to it so you will not have to wade through my site to find it...

I agree. Modern Christians don't appear to be prepared for anythingbut a "Who's the More Stubborn Old Coot" competition.
