What exactly do you gals mean when you say a guy has to be smart or intelligent?

are all females smart (intelligent) BIG FAT NO!! therefore be more specific. I work for a living and I have a high school diploma BUT when I,m talking to the ladies sometimes it don,t come out the way I meant it or I say something I didn,t mean to say cause I,m trying to hard and I,m nervous, but that don,t make me dumb. and I think it very chauvinistic of females to say it that way, actually I like women that are smarter than myself. Any idiot can tell a women what she wants to hear,that don,t make him smart! most men that live on their own,are all smart in some way so I think its about time for WOMEN to be more INTELLIGENT in how they describe men and stop being so inconsiderate!

what I mean by smart/intelligent is a guy that I can carry on a conversation with. everyone stumbles with words sometimes and that's not what makes someone dumb. what i can't stand is when people have no common sense and has absolutely nothing to say that is worth listening to.

No dearheart it doesn't mean you're stupid. Most women just want to be able to carry on a decent conversation that's all. It's not all about grammar, just say what you mean and try to relax. Never let anyone make you feel like you're less than what you are. If she's paying attention, she can see that you're not dumb, and if she can't then maybe she needs to re-evaluate her listening skills.
