I think that instead of dying it all, she should just highlight it. But go to the salon and get it done. She has a lot of hair to do on your own. I also think that she would look great with some highlights!! Good luck girls

If that is your friends' natural color, tell her to keep it (it's beautiful!!)maybe just lighten up with a few highlights, but otherwise for that pic of what she wants, she should definately go to a salon because that is quite a job! And when you say "dirty blonde" it could be scary what color you get from a box (especially with how dark her hair is)

I'm pretty sure you cannot find a dye called "dirty blonde". She could try ash blonde or palest blonde. My hair is naturally "dirty" blonde and I'm constantly washing it.

well she shouldn't do it herself.. i did that once.. (bad idea it turned orange.. and it usually strips the color out &takes 1-2years to get back normal hair color).. but it might look good.. and plus if she doesn't like it she can always dye over it again :) she should get it done professionaly :-D
